Throw in 200+ boats, a 34 foot Catalina, vibrant visuals at sunset, sunrise, and even during the day, a little sea sickness, some good food, three hour shifts of sleep, then three hours on deck, five other level headed guys and 22 hours to get to the finish, fish tacos, Mexican beer, Super Viagra Man statues on the sidewalks and you have the Newport to Ensenada boat race.
